Dhillon is a family man and father of three grown adults, loves to socialise and meet new people, travel to new places and is mad about music with a big passion for DJ’ing.
Dhillon’s journey with Genuine Solutions began in the very early days in 2006 to join a rapidly fast-growing international sales team for Accessories Distribution. Coming from an industry background of over 13 years’ experience he had successfully developed the first international sales team for Genuine Solutions. Although enjoying this role and being fairly successful, there was a deeper underlying passion on ethical recycling, which was embedded from a previous role that he held for 11 years prior – with UK’s largest device and accessories recycler Shields Environmental/Fonebak.
In 2008, Genuine Solutions’ recovery and recycling division was born and co-founded by Dhillon and Christian McBride (CEO), which quickly identified and developed relationships with pan European mobile operators, service centres, national retailers and distributors, to recover all unwanted tech and accessories providing a full end to end waste management service. Genuine Solutions became a leader in this field and has won numerous awards and accolades to date.
With 26 years’ experience in the industry, Dhillon is hands on and dedicated in supporting and strengthening the company’s relationships with partners and key clients – some of which span back some 13 years. A core member of the Senior Team and Genuine Solutions shareholder.
Dhillon is passionate about the purpose of recycling, has a vision of being the EU leader in this field with a strong ambition and determination to introduce the Genuine Solutions brand to new businesses, offering not only recycling and recovery services, but joining them on the sustainable journey by adding value and support to their ESG and CSR objectives.
