This not-for-profit organisation was created to preserve our mobile heritage, celebrate technological achievements, spark nostalgic discussions, and educate future generations.
The Mobile Phone Museum is home to over 2,300 individual devices spanning across 200 brand names. Currently hosted virtually, the ambition is to create a physical pop-up exhibition by 2025, to mark the 40th anniversary of the first mobile phone call made in the UK.
The donor for each device is named on the website. In addition to listing the vital facts and features, each device has its own story often representing a moment in mobile phone history the owners of the museum are keen to capture. The entire catalogue is listed on the website, where it is possible to search by brand, model and year.
Memorable models are also featured in collections including Best Selling, Firsts, James Bond films, Luxury, Fashion and even the Ugliest!

As a supporter, Genuine Solutions provides the Mobile Phone Museum with a processing hub for donated devices. We help categorise each device as it comes in and safely store the handsets, ready for the next event.
As we have a number of mobile recycling take back schemes operating alongside our charity partners, we are also in a position to keep an eye out for any missing treasures to tick off the museum’s Most Wanted list.
To follow, engage and keep up to date with the Mobile Phone Museum on social and follow them on their journey in bringing the history of mobile back to the present.
