All products received at Genuine Solutions are segregated, catalogued, graded and tested, determining how and where each product should be placed for re sale. Enabling us to achieve the best value and confidence to our clients that the final product destination is ethical and safe.
Recycle
Environmental compliance is at the heart of everything we do. If products cannot be recycled, we extract and recover many components as possible for reuse.
We also offer recycling, reprocessing and redistribution services to organisations that need to effectively deal with old, damaged and waste products. We understand transparency is important and can provide evidence to verify our processes.

Our newly developed innovations for part harvesting very much support our vision of recovery and reuse and goes much deeper than the industry standard trade-in programs. Whilst we applaud the good work of these schemes, we bring life to products that companies had previously written off and scrapped.
Using harvested genuine parts, we can rework mobiles previously deemed BER (Beyond Economical Repair) into fully functional units. By being reworked rather than auctioned off as scrap, it helps reduce the significant gap between book value and write-down value, potentially saving our clients, millions!
These innovations have driven an increase in recycling uptake, across a number of our clients, improving their overall recovery (the best form of recycling) from 16% to 82%, a huge increase and a significant step in reducing e-waste.
- FMIP / KNOX locked devices legitimately received are harvested for key components such as LCDs, cameras, flexes etc.
- All motherboards environmentally recycled with full audit trial by IMEI so personal data cannot be extracted.

This allows us to provide a complete audit trail from collection, through to the breakdown of raw materials.
Being able to generate WEEE evidence and certified reports for customer PCS schemes enables us to provide customers with the appropriate evidence notes to satisfy WEEE and CSR requirements, this allows us to be completely transparent with our customers and has led to Genuine Solutions being the preferred recovery partner for a number of global network operators and insurance providers.
