Our recovery arm of the business (GSUK), prevent unwanted electronic accessories and devices being sent to landfill, eliminating 8 tonnes of waste through the recovery of 88 million products contributing to a sustainable, more ethical circular economy model – something we at Genuine Solutions live by.
With 100% reuse and proving nothing should go to waste, we commissioned The Artbank organisation to design a concept for us using components and accessories we recovered from smartphone devices, technology and accessories received from our very successful Mobile Mopup initiative. Bringing our vision to life, handmade bespoke star shaped ornaments were lovingly created with intricate detail using recycled parts from devices and we presented these in an eco-friendly gift box as a special gift for our customers to place on their trees this Christmas.
We are very proud this year to display our handmade Christmas decorations on our tree and hope this work of art made from ‘waste’ inspires you to play your part and recycle, reuse and re-love this Christmas.
