We are really excited to announce the launch of a new recycling scheme in partnership with giffgaff, set up for its members to recycle any unused and unwanted mobile devices!
Throughout September 2022, the Samaritans East Surrey branch, located in Reigate, will pilot a new scheme to repurpose and recycle unused mobile technology raising vital funds for their work.
It feels like a long time since we stepped outdoors to embark on a new fund-raising challenge. Earlier this week, we teamed up with our partners from the Virgin Media O2 Supply Chain team to raise money for charities as part of their annual Give Back Day initiative, supporting Cancer Research UK and local community projects.

Genuine Solutions are very proud to work in conjunction with North East Lincolnshire Council and Northern Lincolnshire Business Connect to support those in need to change lives, helping disadvantaged people to get connected to the digital world, lending a hand by providing recovered mobile devices and accessories that are surplus for some – a small gesture that makes a big difference to those in need through our award-winning donation programme, Reconnected in partnership with Three.
Through the recovery and re-love of unwanted mobile devices donated by the residents of Kingston-Upon-Thames, Genuine Solutions were able to raise an impressive £4,000 for the Mayor’s Charitable Trust.
Genuine Solutions have received a letter of appreciation from UCLH Charity, thanking us for donating 2,000 phone chargers to support their frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2017, Genuine Solutions and Three UK launched a scheme called ‘Reconnected’ aimed at getting some of the UK’s most disadvantaged people connected to the digital world thanks to free mobile devices.
