In 2019, we introduced the initiative known as ‘Friday Feeling’. This Initiative gave our team an extended weekend by reducing their working hours on a Friday. The results spoke volumes for the team who reaped the benefits of the initiative and more recently in response to the changing times accelerated by covid, the business introduced the initiative of ‘Your Work, Your Way’ (YWYW), which was designed to provide the team with as much flexibility as possible, helping them to manage their workload and commitments in a way that was best suitable to each individual.
Like many other businesses we recognise the impact that lock down measures have had on our business and people and as a result we are introducing a reduced 4 day working week – allowing our team to have an extended weekend through spring time into summer. This will initially will be launched as a pilot and will be reviewed at the end of the quarter to measure its success.
We are passionate about our business and our people and understand the importance of embracing change. Similarly to many other businesses who have opted for a shorter working week, we feel the benefits will be tangible not only for our business but for our people too.
