Underpinned by shared values and as pioneers of Three UK’s Reconnected scheme, Genuine Solutions recently had the opportunity to once again part their part in ensuring unloved and unwanted technology did not go to waste and end up in landfill.
Mark Fermor, Associate Strategic Partnership Director said, “The opportunity to work closely with Three UK once again to help them recirculate unwanted laptops and monitors was one as a team we really relished. Using the foundations of the pioneering initiative Reconnected we launched with Three over half a decade ago, we were able to further showcase our service capacity in getting the laptops and monitors cleaned and ready for donation into local schools.”

The result being over 200 laptops and 300 monitors donated to the ‘Keep Kids Connected’ scheme, facilitated by the DONS Local Action Group. Benefiting 3 Secondary Schools and 6 Primary Schools within the Kingston borough.
Three UK’s Chris Gasnier, Senior CSR Comms Manager added, “When we originally had the idea to find a new home for some old tech, we knew it was going to be a complicated process with lots of compliance and regulations to navigate. Thankfully, we had our long standing partner Genuine Solutions to call upon to take the stress out of the process and ensure all of our requirements for repurposing this old tech were satisfied. I look forward to working with the team closely in the months ahead as we develop our initiatives in CSR.”
